Toronto based, indie synth-rock band Yukon Blonde opened for Nate Mendel’s bad Lieutenant at the Troubadour 4/8/15. It took a while, but we finally posted some photos from their gig.
Fronted by vocalist/guitarist Jeff Innes, Yukon Blonde’s music had me grooving to their catchy pop sounds. Perhaps it was me standing next to bass monitor, but I was particularly feeling the grooving baselines that drove each song.
Overall, a very entertaining set, and worth checking out if they’re in your neck of the woods with a gig.
