THOUGHTS: Punk trio METZ, consisting of Alex Edkins on vocals and guitar, Chris Slorach on bass and Hayden Menzies on drum, are from Toronto, Canada. Their debut album came out in 2012, and garnered a tremendous buzz among critics and fans. The release date of their sophomore album (METZ II) was announced on February 17th, and just days later they played a killer set at Air+Style. Their brand of noise/grunge rock was raw and unfiltered and a nice jolt to the day.
